Architectural Design Competitions #ADCs are essential tools for improving the quality of the #builtenvironment and encouraging innovation in the architecture field. However, a limitation persists in the way national frameworks are strongly rooted in the competition culture of each country, hindering the participation to the ADCs.

A consistent and long-term strategy for the collection and sharing of data among EU member states has never been developed. This lack of knowledge adds to #languagebarriers and poor information exchange, resulting in a very low rate of transnational participation in ADCs.

The ARCH-E project addressed these issues by developing this #research package, which focuses on knowledge and information exchange and promotes healthy competition.
